64-bit custom core CPU Exynos 8 Octa was designed to provide incredible performance and high energy efficiency. Made on 14-nanometer technology FinFET of the second generation Exynos Octa 8 delivers increased performance by more than 30 percent and improving energy efficiency by 10 percent compared with its predecessor, the Exynos 7 Octa 7420.
Exynos 8 Octa also contains the most advanced LTE modem Rel. 12 12/13 for incredible connection speed. It is capable of providing download speeds in the down-channel up to 600 Mbps (category 12) and up to 150 Mbps (category 13) — a rising channel. This will allow users to take a fresh look at the capabilities of mobile devices.
Exynos 8 Octa will be on display at the booth of Samsung at number 2F21, Hall 2 at the international exhibition Mobile World Congress 2016, which will be held from 22 to 25 February at the exhibition center Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain. The demonstration will be conducted simultaneously with the display of other Exynos products, including the recently unveiled Exynos 7 Octa 7870.
