MasterCard will bring the confirmation of payment with the help of a selfie
Mastercard introduces an alternative verification using a password. The company will begin to take a selfie and scans the fingerprints to confirm online payments.
The verification to MasterCard customers need to install the application. The developers are working on software for PCs, tablets and smartphones.
The program will not allow you to use pre-made selfie for verification of payment the client will need to blink, looking at the camera, reports the BBC.
MasterCard said that the new version of the confirmation chose 92% of subjects. A new option will be available for residents of USA, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada and the UK in the summer of 2016.
The company said that during preliminary tests, this option was chosen by 92% of subjects. For citizens of the USA, UK, Canada, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark will be available in the summer.
